Starting from our experience with 470 spinnaker bags we designed the 420 ones in order to be: extra light and wide, allowing for an easy spinnaker take down. The bottom side is made of rugged PVC coated net, to discharge the water that comes in from the deck. The bags are provided with two pockets each, the front ones have a velcro closure, and one is transparent. On the mast side of the begs each has a long pocket, to store the emergency rescue line, or the halyards.
